May is National Preservation Month and this year's theme is "Discover America's Hidden Gems."  One of Rockland’s most successful preservation efforts, and hidden gems is the Lafayette Theater, in Suffern. 

Tune in to the next Crossroads of Rockland History as Nelson Page, film history enthusiast and operator of the Lafayette Theater will be on hand to discuss the restoration of this landmark theater.  We will also discuss Rockland’s role in the early days of motion pictures.
