Part II: Riverboats, Railroads & Recreation

In this illustrated presentation, HSRC Executive Director Susan Deeks re-creates the "Riverboats, Railroads and Recreation" section of Bob Burghardt's popular "Vanishing Rockland County" slide program of the 1970s-1990s.


The program features slides of the artists's paintings and photographs Burghardt took to illustrate the "vanishing heritage," accompanied by readings from his original script, which have been donated to the HSRC by the family of Robert and Cecilia Burghardt.
