Have You Dreamed of Making History?

We all have. Now we have a chance to do it by taking part in the Hudson Valley’s first Day of Giving, a powerful opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community.

We need your help! 

Hudson Valley Gives is TODAY, and we're asking you to join us in our efforts to make this the most extraordinary day of giving the nation has ever seen.

I am writing to ask you to take five minutes to give to the Historical Society of Rockland County. After that, you'll have the opportunity to give to other nonprofits that do work you support or just kick back and watch how high the giving can go at https://www.hvgives.org.

Your donation of any amount makes a difference. For example, 

  • $25 can help underwrite participation by five schoolchildren in one of our school or Scout-based educational programs; 
  • $50 can help underwrite illustrated panels for our Rockland history-themed traveling displays;
  • $100 can help underwrite efforts to care for our archives and important collections of Rockland County objects and artifacts and so much more!
