Raymond A. Eberling is one of Frank and Elsa Eberling's eight grandchildren and a fifth-generation New City native. He attended Clarkstown schools until moving to Florida in 1964. He has maintained his New City roots and love of its history, returning regularly over the years to visit. Ray spent a career as a U.S. Air Force navigator, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. He holds a BA in Education from the University of Florida and an MA in American Studies from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. With his brother Frank, Ray is co-producing a documentary about their grandfather.
