Volunteering: Historic House Interpreters

Docent
Guides are needed to give tours of the 1832 Jacob Blauvelt home. Volunteers receive training in local history, architecture, Blauvelt family history, and agricultural practices in early Rockland County. Volunteers are also needed for the open-hearth cooking program and to interpret foodways of the 1830s. Period costumes and training are provided.

Time Commitment: 1 Sunday afternoon per month.
