Did you know that Rockland State Hospital (now Rockland Psychiatric Center) was like a small town, with a campus of more than 600 acres, and many of the therapeutic tools we use today were introduced there?

Dr. Kathleen Keefe Cooperman will present the special program "RPC: The Early Years" on the history, treatments, and more during the first decade of of Rockland State Hospital. We will take a journey back to life of the state hospital during the early part of the twentieth century.

A r
eception will follow the presentation.

Celebrate Rockland Psychiatric Center's 85th Anniversary through the months of November and December 2015 and January 2016 and enjoy photographic displays, oral histories, and a number of special programs.

For information, contact NAMI Rockland, (845) 359-8787, [email protected].
