The Tappan Zee Bridge is the largest infrastructure project under way in the United States. The HSRC is pleased to offer an exclusive opportunity to observe his important undertaking from a unique vantage point. Join us on the River Rose, a Mississippi-style paddle wheeler, as we cruise along the Rockland shore of the Hudson River to the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Participants will view the current bridge construction from vantage points that are as near to the bridge as LEGALLY and SAFELY possible.

Narration and commentary will be provided by historians from the HSRC, as well as by leaders of the current bridge project (availability and conditions permitting). These guides will also be available to answer questions you have about the past, present and future of the Tappan Zee Bridge.

On our return trip, we will enjoy a cruise along the Westchester shoreline.

Please note that no tickets will be sold before 10 am on April 27 (for the June 8 trip), May 24 (for the July 5 trip), or July 6 (for the August 15 trip). All tickets are "will-call" (i.e., your name will be placed on our check-in list at dockside; you will not receive physical tickets from tHIstorical Society). Due to the overwhelming popularity of these trips, refunds will be given only within seven days of mking your prepaid reservatin. A limited waiting list will be compiled, and available spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only those who have made full payment can be accommodated.
