32nd Annual Miniature & Dollhouse Show

On Sunday, November 11, 2007, the Historical Society opened its ever-popular Annual Miniature and Dollhouse Show. This enchanting exhibition was curated by Anna Vargas, a very talented professional puppeteer. This enchanting show ran through January 28, 2008 and featured:
  • The magical work of fairy house builder John Curtis Crawford (formerly of Piermont) showcasing six of his fairy houses.
  • Michael Graham of the Spring Valley Puppet Theatre.
  • Professional model maker Jim Youmans model of the Pirates of the Caribbean on Ice used for a Disney extravaganza.
  • Elizabeth Dye will showcase a number of her fairy dolls.
  • Third generation doll maker, sculptor and fantasy illustrator Daniel Horne will show a portrait doll of Dumbledore.
  • Doll artist Kris Hamrick
Many local artists participated, including Hugo and Ann Cimelli, Patricia Mott, Zsu Zsa Neff, Ticia Ulanek and Anna Vargas' handmade puppets and more. Also exhibited were several beautiful dollhouses, gazebos, a toy theatre and dolls.
