Your editor reviews Past and Present: Re-Tracing Paths Now Mostly Hidden, by Don Loprieno. The author, a former Rocklander and site manager of the Stony Point Battlefield, has put together a collection of columns that he wrote for the Lincoln County News in Newcastle, Maine.
Historical Society Cornerstone Jubilee Luncheon and Annual Awards;
O'Grady's Castle: What Is This Place?
The luncheon honored Winston C. Perry Jr. with a Lifetime Service Award; the Friends of Mount Moor Cemetery with a Community Service Award, and Trudy Album with a Living Landmark Award. The festive venue inspired Consulting Editor Marianne Leese to find out more about O'Grady's Castle and its owners.
